BLOGMAS DAY 7: Elf on the shelf

My daughter has been asking why her girl elf didn’t have a skirt after seeing her friends bring theirs to dance with one on. I don’t do any of the extra fun elf stuff, I just move her around the house. I figured this would be a fun way to make the elf a little more exciting. So I took a little inspo from Ari’s Halloween costume.

Sewing

I love a bubble skirt, and since I’m already making one for Ari, that’s the style I went with for the elf too. Honestly, it took me three hours, and I swear I had to re-configure the machine every 45 minutes.

Elf outfit

Guys, the finished product turned out so cute. Ari loves the outfit. I told her I made it for her elf and left it next to her so she could put it on while we’re sleeping. Ari’s kinda sus of the elf. It’s the only thing she wants to talk about.
